Female Hair Loss Remedy – Caring For Your Hair Loss
October 12, 2009 by James Stevenson · Leave a Comment
It can be alarming and socially crippling for females to lose their hair. Those ladies who suffer from hair loss have unusual emotional hurdles because our the social order places such a high ranking value on full, long, luxurious hair.
On the job can be just as bad. There is always that feeling that others are whispering their comments or giving sorrowful looks of sympathy. No one really knows how it feels unless they experience it for themselves. The right female hair loss remedy can vary widely, dependent upon age, cause and general body condition.
The initial step that you can take is to meet a physician, because hair loss can indicate the onset or existence of some diseases, such as Diabetes, and this factor needs to be factored out. It’s also a possibility that a bacterial or fungal infection is happening if your scalp is itchy and scaly. Fortunately, these can be resolved easily.
Women often lose some hair during or immediately after pregnancy or surgery. It’s not something to be alarmed about. Odds are that this is not a permanent situation and once you fix the situation, which can be as simple as starting a healthier diet, the problem will start to go away. First, rule out other more temporary causes so you can relax.
For some, hair loss is irreversible. It is there to stay unless treatments can be successful, no matter if it’s the results of heredity or hormones. There is the availability of individual treatments in order to reduce the speed at which hair is lost and also to assist the growth of the hair which has been lost. Follow these suggestions to reduce your rate of hair loss.
1 – You should avoid shampoos that contain surfactants, because they actually damage hair with their lathering properties.
Stop the use of dry heat, such as from curling irons or blow dryers, and style your hair in ways that doesn’t require any heat.
3 – Treating or dying your hair can aggravate the hair loss situation- if you find yourself losing hair, stop the treatments and see what happens.
4 – Fix your diet: well-balanced meals, particularly high in protein and natural oils can help.
5 – Exercise more to increase the blood supply to your scalp: Increased blood supply can help to keep follicles healthy and producing.
6 – Relax. If there are things or people during the day who routinely stress you out, then add time to relax to your routine. Yoga and other meditations can greatly reduce stress levels.
7 – Use natural remedies: In a range of mixtures, essential oils and herbs can be spread on the scalp, aiding follicles in staying open and healthy.
For reduction in rate and the potential of regrowth, there are a variety of medical options. These are advertised through all media, and most include research results which show the levels of effectiveness. Some contain both man-made chemicals and natural ingredients, some one or the other.
The best way to find out what kind of female hair loss remedy suits you is to experiment, so go ahead and do plenty of research. To see whether a treatment is working for you, it is important to stay hopeful since it can take up to 180 days to see results. Be sure you use female equivalents of medicines such as rogain, provillus, and propecia only for women.
For some women, hair extensions and wigs solve the problem of hair loss, occasionally on a permanent basis. Many females choose surgery to fix their hair loss problems, though it is expensive. Due to the way the hair is growing, with full growth still taking place in the back of the head, female pattern baldness can be particularly amenable to being treated with hair transplants. For a major balding concern, you can consider a hair graft procedure.
Happily, a huge deal of wealth is being streamed into this problem. Research labs all through the planet are running endlessly to develop medicinal preventions and treatments. Progress is being made, and the alert sufferer of hair loss will keep abreast of any innovative study on a female hair loss medicine which comes to light.
Waltzing: How to Do It?
October 11, 2009 by Daniel Reed · Leave a Comment
When the Waltz stormed England in the early 1800?s, the suggestive dance ignited a storm of controversy. The Waltz was the first dance where the male actually held his female partner at close quarters and led her through what was considered to be a series of suggestive movements.
In a successful Waltz, the movements of each dancer compliment the other. The woman always mirrors the male?s leading steps. The male leads the woman through boldly romantic steps, which explains why the dance has become so popular with brides or couples who want to share a memorable dance.
Actually, the waltz has its roots in an Austrian-Bulgarian 17th century country folk dance. By the middle of the 18th century, the popular dance had spread throughout Europe. The country folk dance connection explains the upbeat tempo of the very movable Waltz. In Europe, the waltz music was greatly influenced by Johann Strauss in the 1800?s.
The waltz arrived in the U.S. circa 1830. American composers slowed the pace and encouraged longer gliding steps. This new style was named the Boston. Eventually the Boston?s popularity faded but was replaced by the American Style Waltz.
Meanwhile, the English were busy branding their version of the Waltz. The English changes resulted in the International Slow Waltz. The steps were precise and dramatic. At the same time, the new American Style Waltz incorporated more theatrical movements.
The Viennese Waltz was popularized by composer Johann Strauss in the 1800?s. All three versions of the Waltz are extremely popular today. The turn and gliding movements of the dance are used in all versions but are treated differently. All Waltz movements should be progressive and filled with long, flowing movements highlighted by continuous turns. All versions of the Waltz feature rise and fall actions.
The American Waltz is performed to a slow tempo but features those theatrical solo spins and under arm movements. The more flamboyant the waltz, the more American the waltz is. The American Waltz tempo should be fluid and melodic.
The International Slow Waltz consists of long, flowing moves, which are highlighted by many turns. The slow tempo enables powerful movements by both dancers while maintaining that perfect form.
The Viennese Waltz is fast by comparison. Johann Strauss is the most revered of Viennese Waltz composers. The music is characterized by orchestral sounds and very little use of percussion instruments. The movements are shorter and robust.
All Waltzes provide a well-framed position with the head position similar to all three dances. This positioning allows for the close quarter movements and glorious intimacy unique to a properly performed waltz.

Why Does The “Song Thrush” Miao, Without Silver Jewels, Like To Fight?
August 26, 2009 by Clare Liu · Leave a Comment
The Four Seals Miao is a small tribe of the Miao minority group who inhabit the mountainous area of southwestern China. Although they don’t have silver jewels like other Miao tribes, they attract tourists home and abroad with their unique and ethnic culture.
Their lovely hometown, a village named Maige, has lots of thrushes (a fat little bird found in China) that are well known for their loud, sweet songs. Every morning you can enjoy the birds singing happily like a song competition held in the forest. So the village won a nickname “home of the thrush birds.”
Most thrush are characterized by their yellow or brown plumage and brightly spotted breasts. The rest have pure white, silver, or red plumage. Singing lovely songs, the birds also imitate the sounds of other animals and birds. While you walk in the forest, you may here the sound of a hen, a goose, or a dog. These interesting sounds are all made by a thrush.
Thrush birds like to fight. In the mountains, they have their own territories. If one thrush’s territory is invaded by another thrush, a fight will ensue.
The local people like to raise thrush birds. Wherever they go, a market, a friend’s home, they always carry their birds with them in a cage, so that they can enjoy listening to the birds singing, and watching them fighting.
Thrush fighting competitions are often held. After several month’s good care, a thrush can be trained into a brave fighter and sell for a good price. Bird trade flourishes in the Miao area with more and more people from other parts of China and overseas coming to select birds. A few years ago, a thrush raised by a person in Maige was sold to a businessman from Hong Kong for over RMB 280,000.
Thrushes give inspiration to artists, who have created lots of songs and dances about the bird.
Why do the local Miao people like to raise thrushes? And why do thrushes like to fight with each other? Here is an interesting story:
Long time ago, an old couple lived harmoniously with their ten sons in a village. When the sons grew up, they were married and ten new daughters-in-law’s showed up at their home. With this, the peaceful life of the old couple was over. Everyday the women fought with one another, which eventually ruined the good relationship among the sons. So they made a decision to break up the family and live apart. Each son and his wife got some land and property. The old couple chose to live together with their youngest son and his wife.
Among the ten daughters-in-law, nine were lazy and brainless. Only the youngest one was bright and diligent. The youngest couple worked hard on their farmland, so their life became better and better. But the other sons and their wives became poorer and poorer, because they didn’t take good care of their farmland. And they had to borrow money and food from their youngest brother. Year after year, the youngest son and his wife couldn’t afford to continually lend food and money to their brothers, finally they went into bankruptcy. The old couple had to go to the mountains to seek for wild fruits for food.
One day when the old couple were in the mountain, an elderly man appeared and asked them why they had to eat wild fruits. And the couple told the man their sad story. After which he said, Just go back to your home, and you will have food.
When the old couple returned home, they were surprised to find lots of birds singing around their house. Nine sons and their wives disappeared. Only the youngest couple worked in the garden.
The elderly man that the old couple encountered in the mountain was actually the Bodhisattva, who turned the nine sons and their wives into thrush birds and gave the youngest one some rice and food.
The 18 birds stayed around the house, chirping and fighting everyday. The old couple felt sorry for their sons, so they built some bird cages to raise these birds. Since then, the Miao started to keep thrushes at home.
When you visit Maige, don’t miss other Miao tribes close by. Their beautiful silver jewels won’t disappoint.
What To Look For In A Tattooist
August 25, 2009 by Frederick Michaels McKinnon · Leave a Comment
More and more people across the world are getting tattoos. They are almost tribal as they are a way for like-minded people to express their feelings. For example, their love of a football team, film or band.
There is an unlimited number of ways that a tattoo can be done. You can have a small word or tribal design or some full body art. Many people become addicted to getting tattoos done, for example, David Beckham. He started out with just the names of his children, but then proceeded to get more covering his arms, legs, torso and back.
Tattoos are often symbols, such as Chinese characters, ancient symbols etc. It is very important that you do your homework before you decide upon a symbol as you want to be sure that it means exactly what you think it says. Many Chinese symbols have several meanings, and small differences in the design can change the meaning completely. You don’t really want to find out some time in the future that your pride and joy tattoo that you believe to say Simon – Leader of Men actually means Mongolian Beef with Snow Peas. I have seen it happen, so be aware.
Also, it is important that you choose your tattooist carefully. A few years ago a young girl decided to have Angel tattooed across her back, nice and subtle, 3 inch tall lettering. It was beautifully scrolled lettering, very carefully done.. except for one small error, the poor girl ended up with Angle instead of Angel as she had failed to notice the spelling error on the tattooists notes.
So what can we learn from this? Well, double check that your chosen tattooist isn’t dyslexic as it can prove difficult and expensive to fix mistakes at a later date, if they are fixable at all. For this reason it is always wise to visit your tattoo shop when completely sober as it will allow you to make better decisions than you might otherwise do.
If you have never had a tattoo before, I would suggest starting small and working your way up to the bigger, elaborate designs. Good tattoo shops will have a portfolio for their tattooist full of his/her previous work. If you know you want a tattoo, but aren’t sure what you want, then these portfolios are a good way to get some ideas.

Rocket Chinese – Lin Ping Rocket Chinese Review
June 26, 2009 by Chris Jensen · Leave a Comment
There are over one billion people that speak some form of Chinese on this planet. That makes Chinese the most popular language in the world. Since it’s so popular, Lin Ping has developed a program specifically designed to help you learn Chinese at your own pace and in your own way. Her program, Rocket Chinese, has a lot of people talking, but this is what you can really expect from it.
Rocket Chinese is centered on five main categories. Those five categories are interactive audio lessons, illustrated grammar lessons, a software word building game, an audio learning game, and also a live support area that you can talk to Chinese teachers.
The biggest advantage of the Rocket Chinese method is the access to the live support. The people that are your resources are Chinese teachers and people that are native Chinese speakers. They really have a firm command of the Chinese language and can really help you understand the grammar and also the intonations that are often difficult to master. So anytime you have any questions, you are free to ask the support group.
Another big plus to this program is that all the lessons and software are entirely electronic, so you can download the program as soon as you pay and start your learning. There is no need to wait four to six weeks for a software package to arrive in the mail. They also offer a full money back guarantee if you are not pleased with the item.
As with everything, there is also a draw back. The only draw back is that this program covers a lot of material. The interactive audio lessons are covered in thirty one sessions, as well as the illustrated grammar lessons. Any time you learn any new language, you will need to be able to make a time and money commitment to this.
After all is said and done, the Rocket Chinese course has very good elements to it and is highly recommended.
